Android Developer - File Commander

Who are we?
MobiSystems is a product development company that creates and sells mobile apps since 2001. Our apps are installed on more than 450 million devices worldwide and preloaded on a range of mobile devices by Samsung, Sony, Alcatel, Acer, Kyocera, and many others.
MobiSystems is the company behind OfficeSuite and File Commander – both ranked amongst the top 10 Google Play Business apps. It is also the developer and exclusive publisher of a range of best-selling mobile dictionary apps based on data from Oxford University Press, Harper Collins and other top publishers.
Currently, we have over 180 employees in Sofia and offices in San Diego.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly motivated Android Developer to join our team that develops OfficeSuite, File Commander and MobiDrive. Both OfficeSuite, File Commander have more than 100M installs in Google Play. Want to jump start your career? Join us!

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience with Java/Kotlin software development
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to comprehend and evolve an existing code base in a practical manner
  • Kotlin & Java, OOP, data structures and design patterns
  • Git version control
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent will be considered as an advantage.
  • Good understanding of English

Considered a plus:

  • Experience with Android development

What you will use and learn as needed:

  • Java 8+, Kotlin, Android 4.4 to 12 (API levels 19 to latest), Android Studio, Jetpack libraries, Firebase, Git, JIRA, Confluence, Sketch, Gerrit, Material Design, Appium
