File storage

1. Open the MobiDrive widget located in your Windows PC taskbar.







2. Tap New.





3. Choose the type of file you want to create.

1. Open the MobiDrive widget located in your Windows PC taskbar.




2. Click the MobiDrive folder icon (MobiDrive folder acts as an independent Windows drive).




3. Click in the Search bar and type the name of the file you are searching for.

1. Click the MobiDrive icon in your Windows PC taskbar.




2. Click the menu of the file you want to share.




3. Click Share.





4. You can paste the shareable link in an email, social media, chat, etc., to share it.


Alternatively

1. Enter your MobiDrive folder.




2. Right-click on the file you want to share and select Copy shareable link.




3. You can paste the shareable link in an email, social media, chat, etc., to share it.

1. Select the file you want to upload from your Windows PC to your MobiDrive cloud.

2. Right-click on the file and select Copy.




3. Enter MobiDrive from your Windows PC taskbar.




4. Go to your MobiDrive folder.





*An alternative way to enter MobiDrive folder is by typing MobiDrive in the Search bar of your Windows PC and select the app.






5. Right-click in the folder. Select Paste.

To delete files permanently and free up storage space:

1. Click the MobiDrive widget on your Windows PC.






2. Click the web icon to enter your MobiDrive cloud.






3. Click Bin and select the files you want to delete permanently.





*You need to delete files from your MobiDrive folder or cloud to find them in the Bin.


4. Click the bin icon.





5. Confirm with Delete.

To delete files from your MobiDrive folder:

1. Find the MobiDrive widget in your Windows PC taskbar.





2. Click the folder icon.





3. Right-click on the file you want to delete and choose Delete (alternatively, select the file and Delete button on your keyboard).





*When you delete a file from your MobiDrive sync folder, it will remain in the Bin, where you can always access it online. If you want to delete them permanently and free up storage space, see how it’s done here.

If your device is connected to the Internet, you can always check if your MobiDrive files have been synced.

1. Find the MobiDrive widget in your Windows PC taskbar.





2. The “Up to date” status means all your files have been synced between the MobiDrive folder and cloud.

Organize and manage files

1. Click the MobiDrive widget in the taskbar of your Windows PC device.





2. Click Get started to log in to your account (or create one here).





3. Select the sign-in method.





4. Choose the location of the MobiDrive sync folder on your device. Confirm with OK.










5. To enter your sync folder, open the MobiDrive widget in your taskbar and click the folder icon.









Every time you save a file in your MobiDrive folder, it will be automatically synced to your MobiDrive cloud.

When you delete a file from your MobiDrive sync folder, it will remain in the MobiDrive cloud’s Bin for a given period, depending on your subscription, where you can always access it online.

*The deleted files will still take up your storage quota unless you delete them permanently from the web bin. See how to free up storage and delete files permanently here.
