Cancellations

The steps to cancel your subscription will vary depending on which OS you are using: 

  • You Subscribed to Oxford Dictionary with Translator via Apple App Store
  • You Subscribed to Oxford Dictionary with Translator via Google Play Store
  • You Subscribed to Talk & Translate via Apple App Store
  • You Subscribed to Talk & Translate via Google Play Store
Your subscription will renew automatically until canceled.
When you cancel a subscription, you will still be able to use your subscription for the time you have already paid.

You can change your payment method based on the OS you are using: 

  • Manage your payment method on Google Play. 
  • Manage your payment method on App Store. 
Note that we cannot change your payment method or cancel recurring billing for subscriptions purchased through a third-party seller.

Please follow these steps to cancel your trial and subscription:

 On your iPhone or iPad: 

  1. Go to Device Settings 
  2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen. 
  3. Tap on Subscriptions
  4. Select the Oxford Dictionary with Translator subscription. If you don't see a subscription but are still being charged, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.
Please, do keep in mind that if you uninstall the app without canceling your subscription, you will still be charged at the end of the trial period and each new billing cycle.

 You can add, remove or edit the payment method for your subscription through your Apple ID. On your iOS device: 

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name, then tap iTunes & App Store.
  3. Tap your Apple ID, then tap View Apple ID. You might be asked to sign in.
  4. Tap Manage Payments. Then add, update, or remove your payment methods.

Yes, you can change your subscription plan, but please note that once you do, the subscription plan you are at the moment needs to end before the new subscription begins (for example if you have an annual subscription and would like to change to monthly, the annual subscription would have to end before the monthly rebews.).

Please follow the steps to change your subscription plan: 

  1. Open the Settings app. 
  2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap the name of the subscription that you want to change.
  4. If different types of subscriptions are available, a list appears. Tap the option that you want.
  5. Tap Purchase.
  6. If you chose a subscription that you can share with family, scroll down and turn on Share with Family. (Don't see Share with Family? Set up Family Sharing or join a family, then return to this page and turn on Share with Family.) If you don't want to share the subscription with your family, turn off Share with Family.

Refunds

Google and Apple Subscriptions are not eligible for refunds. Therefore we provide a 3-day trial period which allows users to try out our application and cancel the plan before the payment is processed.

Please note that once a subscription is active, your account will be automatically charged at the end of the trial period for the first billing cycle.

In Google Play Store:
To cancel the subscription renewal, please visit the Subscription center in the Google Play Store app > Subscriptions.

In Apple App Store:

You can use Apple's report-a-problem page to request a refund. Apple processes sales and refunds for all iOS, AppStore apps. You can find the link to the page in the confirmation email/receipt or by Google searching for 'Apple report a problem'.

If the free trial and subscription are not canceled, users are automatically upgraded to a subscription plan when the trial period expires. If you would rather not subscribe, cancel before your free trial ends. You would have to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires to avoid the start of the first billing cycle.

We ask for a payment method to ensure you do not experience any interruption in service after the free trial, should you choose to continue using your OfficeSuite Premium license past the trial.
