Who are we?

MobiSystems is a Bulgarian product development company that creates and sells its own productivity applications for Windows, Android and iOS. Our applications are installed on more than 500 million devices worldwide.

During our 20 year history, we have created OfficeSuite (www.officesuite.com), PDF Extra (www.pdfextra.com) and MobiDrive (www.mobidrive.com), which have proven themselves to be viable alternatives for the products from Microsoft and Adobe.

Currently, we have over 180 employees in our headquarters in Sofia and offices in San Diego and Stockholm.

The candidate will work for Mobisystems poducts through an agency Capital M.

Your role:

We're seeking a highly skilled copywriter to join our creative team. The right candidate must have a marketing/ seller mindset and be able to craft engaging, targeted and personalized communications (e.g., web, digital, social, print, video, product, and direct mail). Candidate will be instrumental in increasing product monetization and supporting product retention and loyalty. Strategic and campaign-oriented thinking is a must, as is the ability to effectively tell a story using data-driven insights.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop high-converting, marketing and transactional copy for various mediums aligned with our brand voice.
  • Create and update landing pages and promos. Presents information effectively to gain buy-in.
  • Collaborate with designers to develop creative concepts for assets; proofread materials for colleagues and provide quality control.
  • Collect information through product specification docs, interviews, and product exploration.
  • Ensure consistency and maintain brand integrity and compliance among all copy.
  • Write easy to understand product descriptions, user manuals and tutorials. Research relevant clients, competitors, industry trends and internal products/services
  • Create and maintain support pages on our web site - FAQs, Help topics, 'How-to' Guides.
  • Create capturing blog articles and external articles to educate users about our product features. Translate creative briefs into understandable and compelling assets.
  • Confident editor with strong attention to detail and an eye for typos, misspelled words, confusing syntax and grammatical errors.
  • Prioritize and organize tasks to meet multiple project deadlines. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising or related field preferred.
  • Background in engineering or computer science is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of English language (C2 level).
  • 3+ years professional writing experience in an agency or in-house creative group in the software sector.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines. Keen attention to detail is essential.
  • Experience in creating documentation for multiple audiences.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint). Proficiency in Photoshop, video processing is an advantage.
  • Clear, concise, and persuasive verbal, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using HTML/XML tools to create documentation will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of information design and structured writing is a big plus. A portfolio of work.
